I found yoga years ago when I was looking for ways to refine my body and lose some weight. Yoga found me years later, in 2017 right before a dramatic shift in my life. Little did I know how significant my yoga practice would become. I did not realize how much I was yearning to love myself. My yoga practice developed and held me down during a break-up, yet another apartment hunt in NYC, job transitions, my quarter-life crisis, and it remained as a constant - something to ground me during such an unstable time. Yoga has given me my superpower - self love and respect. Not only do I have a newfound appreciation for my physical body (which is something I never thought possible), but I have a relationship with my “Self” - one that I cherish and plan to keep working on.
